Those are both good options but my fav is "Animated Widget Contact Launcher". It gives you the option of having different apps or contact info on the same button. I think it's worth a look anyway.You need to get Metamorph and Multicon to clump 4 widgets together. You can actually clump more than 4 I think. It has a variety of options.

I had that as well. It was pretty cool, but not really for me.

I've seen some really classy text based homescreens and that is no exception robert. I've always been a as close to stock kind of guy.
