These are two of my recent wallpapers on my phone.

Hi Jim~
I am in the process of studying up on everything android in preparation for my first phone (currently have a dumb phone, waiting for my contract to expire on t-mobile so I can get a GNEX or SGS3)
I've always liked customizing my tech, I roll my own rigs, (linux FTW) so android seems like fun to kick around. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty so to speak.
I recently ran across this home screen which I'm really interested in. I sent the owner a PM asking for info on it but got no response. I'm hoping you might point me in the right direction so I can figure out how to get this going on my device. His signature indicated he is using "ROM/Kernel: RootzBoat"
Specifically I'd like to learn how to make my own customized buttons so 'WEB' will activate the browser and so on.
I'd love to learn how to customize this completely rad wallpaper to make it my own ... TIA

Hi thanks for the response- check out that thumbnail I attached. See how the buttons for Tweet!, WEB! etc. are styled in that comic book art style? I'd like to know how to make similar. I'm also curious what that clock is- I really like the style of that home screen, I'd like to do something very similar with some of my own art work.Firstly i want to know that what types of Android wallpaper do you want because there are lots of varieties are available.
