I am in the process of studying up on everything android in preparation for my first phone (currently have a dumb phone, waiting for my contract to expire on t-mobile so I can get a GNEX or SGS3)
I've always liked customizing my tech, I roll my own rigs, (linux FTW) so android seems like fun to kick around. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty so to speak.
I recently ran across this home screen which I'm really interested in. I sent the owner a PM asking for info on it but got no response. I'm hoping you might point me in the right direction so I can figure out how to get this going on my device. His signature indicated he is using "ROM/Kernel: RootzBoat"
Specifically I'd like to learn how to make my own customized buttons so 'WEB' will activate the browser and so on.
I'd love to learn how to customize this completely rad wallpaper to make it my own ... TIA
