I want to root Colors X-Factor Bold but before that i want to make a recovery image in case of any failures. Any body can help, what should i do for both the cases?

Thats easy, you dont need to make a backup,just root using the binary root method all things will go fine,

I did the same in my xfactor bold and everything worked fine.

 

But do you know the idea of installing cwm in this phone
