When I enter a 4 digit short number into my gmail contacts WITHOUT any asterisk, and then try to dial or SMS the number from my phone (Samsung Google Nexus with Jelly Bean), it automatically adds a star (asterisk) before the number and absolutely refuses to dial or SMS the 4 digit number without it. In gmail contacts on the computer, the number appears WITHOUT an asterisk exactly as I entered it.
Anybody know how to make this stop!!??
