I just ordered this little guy off Amazon, finally. It's a Razer Orochi and I can't wait to pair it up with my Alienware m11x. This is the first laptop I've had with Bluetooth so I've been wanting to switch to a nice wireless mouse. Currently have a Razer DeathAdder, nice big mouse but not fun to take along, plus a friend wants to take it off my hands. Since the Orochi has Bluetooth it should pair up to my Androids as well. We'll see.

I'm interested in an Orochi so it's great to see someone with one as I have a couple of questions.

What is the range before you start losing function of the mouse? and does it just cut off or get sketchy?

Also, In my situation I'd leave the mouse at work and take the laptop home with me. If I come back into the office will the mouse automatically pair with laptop again? or automatically pair if you shut down and start up again / pair if you turn bluetooth off and back on?

Range around 30ft. It kinda gets sketchy beyond that.

To answer your second question, yes. The bottom has an on off switch. I turned off the mouse, shut down my computer and then turned em both back on and they found each other before I had even logged in.

I attached another photo giving a size comparison to my DeathAdder.

BTW, works just dandy on my Androids :D

Wow, that is small! (That's what she said)

I checked out the Razer booth this year at CES and I was impressed with the stuff they make. I have never personally owned any Razer products though because I feel they are too expensive. I really don't consider myself a cheap person, but I have a hard time spending 200 dollars on a Keyboard.
I have been considering though for my next set of input devices to switch to Razer. This Logitech G7 Mouse is about done.

It's really not as small as it looks. The mouse on the right is really big. 3.5" compared to 5" from front to back.

They do make some expensive stuff but its not too bad if you go through Amazon. I have a Razer Lycosa keyboard ($70) and this Orochi mouse was $60 shipped. The Deathadder was like $40, and I also have the Razer Orca headphones ($40). I eventually upgraded those to the leatherette pads which was overpriced and only available direct from Razer, but they are cooler when wearing for long periods of time and the bass got a bit of boost, more cushion-y too.

Just don't buy direct if you can help it. Everything is 10-30 dollars more on their storefront.

I have a pair of Sennheiser HD518 Headphones..
After wearing these things for 3 months I could never see myself buying another brand of headphones ever again.

I seen Sennheisers booth at CES too.. Oh man.. Earorgasm heaven..

Back to Razer. I really want that SWTOR Keyboard... I got to play with it @ CES and I fell in love with it.. but like I said it was a 200+ dollar keyboard.. Kind of expensive for my taste.
