So what is everyone's thoughts on Jelly Bean? It's not a major update, but there are some cool features. I think the notifications might be the biggest improvement. Google Now seems cool, but is it going to be one of those things that keeps bugging you? Are you disappointed or excited?

I am excited. I like the "Siri" type feature they are adding.
I think they expected more claps and cheers for the "Butter" part of the Keynote. I do like that even though the eye's cant see it. They are still working on improving the performance.
I hope my HTC Evo LTE gets a 4.1 Update soon after they roll it out.

You might be right on the whole "project butter" thing. I'm hearing that Jelly Bean is super smooth which is really nice to hear.

I think my sentiments echo the resounding, "Meh," the announcement was met with. It wasn't anything that wasn't expected and it isn't a major change to ICS. I have to admit, ICS looks a lot to me like the Android version of Windows XP. It might not be perfect but it is functional enough that most users weren't starving for an upgrade and have a "If it ain't broke..." mentality about it.

Jelly Bean looks nice. Any improvement is nice. Once it is no longer the latest version, it will fade quickly from the collective consciousness.

Well yeah if you think about it this is more of a Froyo or Gingerbread update. I assume we are in for a pretty major update again in October, but who knows they might do a minor update again and wait until next I/O for 5.0. Like you said, things are pretty solid for now, we just need some minor tweaks here and there.

Jelly Bean really excitation me. All of the focus with this up date was to make Android smoother, easier, and safer to use.

Hey quick question. Tad off topic.
I remember hearing them announce TV was coming to Google Play.
I still have not seen anything dealing with TV on the application.

Was that a more of a "Coming soon." or is that just a 4.1 thing?

They said TV shows would be coming to Google Play, but not sure if there are any there. Apparently you will be able to buy full seasons or just episodes.

Install the latest version of Google Play and check it out. Not a bad selection
